Partsforu.com + Existence

You could say that our “philosophy” or our “Vision” is as simple as there is an area of the powersports business that has needs to better the negative affect it has on the business. That area is old, new obsolete parts. NOS, or New Old Stock.

What is unique about the process Partsforu.com is beginning is that we’re designing the steps to “list, search, procure and pay” to be as seamless as possible. As far as we’re aware, there is no other service doing this but with the slight exception of what some Point Of Sale and data managing software will do by searching dealer’s inventories. Harley Davidson’s software is pretty good at it, and Lightspeed has a search feature that seems to work pretty well however 1. Are these any reason not to take additional course of action? and 2. Is it enough? There are still steps that need to be addressed.  3. Is what your looking for showing “active” or even listed in another inventory?

Part of the Partsforu.com Story

Every business has a beginning, and here is a brief story of ours. The model of Partsforu.com came as an idea 12 years ago. We’re trying to make it simpler than other business models and also in the good nature of “keeping it in the family” we want to deal with and provide access of the services to those outdoor power equipment dealers and powersports business that make up nearly all of the experience amassed in the past 40+ years. This is why we have chosen a membership type access to Partsforu.com, much like the major parts and equipment distributors of both industries do.
Talk about business roots. . .people wanna know that you have some, and we sure got em!

Meet the Team

The “Team” consists of me. . just me for now.  However I have to give credit to a group of individuals who have offered support, ideas and in general have encouraged the development of Partsforu.com. Without their help the idea pool may have been pretty dry!

After over 30+ years in various business entities from Boy Friday, Assistant cook and bottle washer, floor sweeper, sales guy / Regional manager to Vice President and General operations manager, it was time I tried something on my own. And PowerSport Strategies was the idea I choose and with Partsforu.com as our flagship product.

As a Team Facilitator in a manufacturing facility I was charged with the task of teaching over 50 manufacturing teams how to run their respective departments and collect and assimilate their data. I handled at least 10 major  National Account’s liken to Home Depot, Lowe’s and Menard’s.

Hobbies ? Sure: off road anything, motorcycling, dual sport riding , extreme hiking, cooking and a little home remodeling. I am the club president of Tennessee off Road Riders Association which I established in 1989.
